BFSI in India: Multi-City Installation of Core Banking applications mandated by the RBI and their integration with latest versions of IBM MQ

Summary/Objectives:

A BFSI in India was mandated to upgrade their installations of Two Core Banking Applications called (NDS-OM and CBLO), mandated by the RBI. Both applications use a product called IBM MQ as their backbone to manage communication policies between NDS-OM, CBLO and other core banking applications. Upgraded versions of the NDS-OM and CBLO applications had to be integrated with the latest version of IBM MQ and deployed across multiple BFSI Premises

Our Role:

• We rapidly upskilled our team on the IBM MQ product and became registered partners of IBM, after certifying both our sales and development teams.
• Procured and installed 500+ IBM MQ Licenses at Bank Premise across multiple cities
• Installed and integrated NDS-OM and CBLO applications on site in New Delhi and remotely at Mumbai.

Value to the Client:

• The bank was able to meet its timeline for applications upgrade since our team delivered both the IBM product licences and the integration services.
• The Bank did not suffer any downtime or disrupt since the switchover to upgraded applications was scheduled outside banking hours
• The Bank was able to save cost and time on several aspects of the project since we streamlined IBM MQ Licence purchase while guaranteeing the lowest price possible in partnership with IBM, and we were able to service Bank Sites outside New Delhi remotely.
