Reputed Design Firm: Converting 2D web page designs into fully functional CMS Websites
Summary/Objectives:
A reputed design firm in Florida experienced an immediate demand from their clients to deliver web design services in addition to the print design services they traditionally offered. The design firm was not experienced in delivering web applications and needed support for the same.
Our Role:
- Understood client’s design and delivery process and provided consultancy on how to adapt to web design needs.
- reated a workflow that would allow the client to continue designing web pages in 2D, after which we would programme all pages into a functional website.
- Provide ongoing consultancy on changing web technologies and increase client’s offerings to their end-customers.
Value to the Client:
- Enabled client to include web design services in their portfolio of services without disrupting their existing practice.
- Created an infrastructure and process, enabling the client to not reveal their backend dependencies
- Helped client transition from a primarily print design firm to a primarily web design firm
- Although intended as a temporary arrangement, the client is satisfied with the new business model enough to retain our services exclusively for all web design projects.
