Luxury US Grocery chain: Setting up and maintaining managed WiFi services offered to Retail Giant’s Store Customers

Summary/Objectives:

A Large Grocery Retailer, with 400+ stores across the US and UK, wanted to offer Managed  WiFi services to its in-store customers.

Our Role:

  • Developed a cloud based, central management software to remotely manage controllers and access points across all 400+ deployments including but not limited to ISP status, Device uptime, and throughput.
  • Deployed a 1800 Helpline to offer On-GOing support to these deployments in US Store hours. Created ticket based service desk in India to manage both outlets and end customer support.
  • Developed and manage custom access screens for each outlet which are used for promoting offers and deals at each outlet
  • Provided ISP management for outlets without an internal IT team

Value to the Client:

  • Enabled client to provide Quality WiFi to its In-Store customers, outsourcing the deployment & sustenance of this over Usage lifecycle.
  • Ensured appropriate bandwidth capacity is reserved for Business Internet Usage such as Billing, Inventory Managers, Human Resource Managers, Security Servers and Staff Computers.
  • In-Store customers facing issues avail support directly from us allowing Store staff to focus on core work.
  • Regardless of In-Store Customer volume, all outlets enjoy high availability Internet for their internal operations
  • Each outlet had the option of using our custom splash screens for unique outlet promotions
