For a National Bank in India: Developed and maintain a SMS Notification application that can be used as a standalone broadcast system or be integrated with any 3rd party application capable of integration with other software

Summary/Objectives: –

Bank wanted a platform agnostic SMS Notification application that could Integrate with existing applications to add a channel of notifications to internal users of these applications.

Our Role:

• Developed an application for enabling SMSing to users/ Groups, SMS template management and APIs and Web services for integration with 3^rd parties
•  Integrated this SMS App. with TRAI registered telephony provider.
• Got registered a unique SMS short code on behalf of the bank
• Added functionality of using the SMS application as a manual messaging service to compliment the automated notifications via integrated 3rd party applications

Value to the Client:

• Bank was able to integrate the SMS application with both open source and licenced applications successfully
• The learning curve on the SMS application was greatly reduced due to well documented instructions provided by us
• Due to convenience of standalone manual usability also of the SMS application, it has quickly been adopted as the primary channel for internal communication and alerts, improving employee responsiveness.
